Freshman Oleksyi Vyshyvanyuk improved to 9-1 in singles this season but Lake Forest was defeated 7-2 by LeTourneau University on Wednesday during the team's Spring Break Trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Vyshyvanyuk and senior Chase Garber nearly had their ninth doubles victory of the spring as well but dropped a tiebreaker 7-4 at the top spot in the lineup.

Taking both sets 6-3, Vyshyvanyuk doubled up the Yellowjackets' best singles player while the Foresters also earned a point by default at #2.

The loss evened Lake Forest's record on the year at 5-5 while LeTourneau improved to 8-3.

The Foresters will conclude the trip with a pair of contests on Friday, beginning with a match against Berry College at 8:30 a.m. (ET). They will also take on University of Lynchburg at 3:15 p.m.
