The Forester men's tennis team opened its Spring Break trip with a 9-0 loss to Washington College on Sunday.

The closest matches were at the top of the lineup. Lake Forest senior Matt Kacyn and sophomore Brant Christensen were edged out 8-6 at #1 doubles and Kacyn dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision at #1 doubles.

The Foresters fell to 2-6 on the season while Washington improved to 2-1.

Lake Forest will continue the trip against Nazareth University Monday morning at 8:30 (EST). The match will be played at Hilton Head High School.
