Box Score 2 The Forester men's tennis team won a pair of 9-0 decisions
against Judson University and host Rockford College on Saturday
(February 27). Lake Forest is still undefeated after four matches
this season.
Forester juniors Jon Flaksman (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North)
and Elliot Muth (New York, N.Y./Hill School) posted victories over
both opponents at #1 and #2 singles, respectively, and they
combined to defeat the top doubles teams from Judson and Rockford.
Senior Joe Campagna (Elmwood Park, Ill./Fenwick) was also 4-0 on
the day at #4 singles and #2 doubles combined.
Freshman John Adams (Colorado Springs, Colo./ Cheyenne Mountain)
won both of his matches at #3 singles and added a victory with
freshman Sebastian di Clemente (Tinley Park, Ill./Tinley Park) at
#3 doubles against Rockford. It was di Clemente's collegiate debut.
Junior Chris Paterakos (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) was also 3-0 on
the day, winning twice as Campagna's doubles partner and also
knocking off his Rockford counterpart at #5 singles.
Lake Forest's next five matches will be played during the team's
Spring Break trip to Orlando, Florida. The Foresters will start
with a contest against the University of Connecticut Sunday (March
7) at 9:00 a.m. (EST).
