Lake Forest College women's soccer player Sophia Key was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday.

Key scored two goals just 100 seconds apart in the Foresters' 3-0 victory at Ripon College on Saturday. With her team already ahead 1-0, the freshman midfielder found the back of the net at the 72:31 mark and again at 74:11 to put the game out of reach.

Key, who entered the contest with just one goal this season, became the fourth player on the 2026 team to score twice in a game.

The victory raised the Foresters' overall record to 13-1-2 and MWC mark to 6-1-1. They are tied for second in the league standings going into Saturday's regular season finale against visiting Knox College.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the sports information directors in the conference. She is the fourth Lake Forest player to earn one of the league's weekly awards and the second to do so on offense.
