Playing for the second day in a row against the same four opponents, the Forester women's golf team tied for second in Saturday's MSOE Invite at Dretzka Park Golf Course in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lake Forest's top player on Saturday was the same as in Friday's WLC Invitational. Senior
Sydney Foulon followed up her third-place 84 on Friday with a victorious 78 at the MSOE Invite.
Freshman
Eva Kennedy improved by two strokes and her 86 tied her for eighth place in the 29-player field. Sophomore
Savannah Matta tied for 18th with a 91 and freshman
Natalie Meler rounded out the Foresters' top five at the event with a 104.
The University of Wisconsin-Oshosh won the event with a team score of 339, which was four shots better than Lake Forest and MSOE.
The Foresters top players will be back in action at the Marian Invite on Sunday and Monday. The Tournament will be played at Rolling Meadows and Whistling Springs in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
