The Lake Forest College women's golf team placed fifth at Wisconsin Lutheran College's WLC Invitational on Friday. The tournament was held at Washington Country Golf Course in Hartford, WIsconsin.
Senior
Sydney Foulon led the Foresters and was third in the 31-player field with a score of 84. Her round featured a birdie on the 143-yard par-3 sixth hole.
Freshman
Eva Kennedy was four shots behind Foulon and tied for seventh in her collegiate debut. Senior
Chelsea Sinclair and sophonore
Savannah Matta also placed among the top 25 at the event.
With a score of 340, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the event by 18 strokes over runner-up Loras College. The Foresters' 369 left them seven shots shy of third-place Milwaukee School of Engineering and 18 ahead of fifth-place Wisconsin Lutheran.
The same five Foresters will compete in the MSOE Invite on Saturday and the team's top group will return to action at the Marian Invite on Sunday and Monday.
