Three members of the Lake Forest College men's tennis team traveled to Kalamazoo College and competed in this weekend's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Region Tournament.
Junior
Bernardo Aguiar represented the Foresters in both doubles and singles. He and senior
George Ciuca teamed up for a narrow 8-6 victory in the round of 64 before falling 8-3 to a duo from Washington University in St. Louis that was seeded in the top 16.
Aguiar also prevailed in the opening round of singles. He came out on top 7-5, 3-6, (10-5) prior to being eliminated in the round of 64.
Lake Forest sophomore
Felipe Moraes also participated in the tournament but was defeated in the opening round.
The tournament was the final event of 2025 on the Foresters' schedule. They will resume the 2025-26 season with a dual match at the University of Chicago on the final day of January.
