Box Score The Lake Forest College men's tennis team closed out the 2025 season at the Midwest Conference Individual Tournament in Madison, Wisconsin, over the weekend.

The Foresters began the day with appearances in five of the six singles finals but, unfortunately, all five ended up as runner-up performances. Sophomore Bernardo Aguiar nearly took the first set at #2 but was defeated in a tiebreaker. Senior Daniel Tulchinskiy was also close in the opening set, falling 7-5.

Junior George Ciuca represented Lake Forest at #1, freshman Felipe Moraes at #3, and senior Kyle Lassen at #4.

The doubles semifinals were next and the Foresters were 3-for-3 in advancing to the finals. Aguiar and Ciuca rolled 8-0 at #2 and Lassen teamed up with fellow senior Anele Mayiga on an 8-5 triumph at #3. Moraes and Tulchinskiy needed a 7-3 victory in the tiebreaker to come out on top at #1.

Moraes and Tulchinskiy also played the closest match in the finals but were edged out 8-6. the Foresters also fell at the other two spots in the lineup, raising their total of second-place finishes at the event to eight.

Tulchinskiy finished his four seasons at the College ranked second in school history with 68 doubles victories and seventh with 105 victories overall. Ciuca climbed into the program's top 10 in singles and doubles wins and now has 99 in the two formats combined.
