Most Foresters who made it to Saturday's competition saw their time at the tournament come to an end, including sophomore
Emma Kinane and junior
Audrey Peters, who were in search of a second straight national title in doubles. They took the first game 15-6 in Saturday's semifinals but dropped the second 15-2 and the tiebreaker 11-8.
Peters did come out on top in a tiebreaker in the quarterfinals of the Women's Open Singles 9-16 bracket before falling in the semifinal round later in the day.
After winning both of his preliminary matches on Wednesday and Thursday and prevailing in the Men's B3 Singles round of 16 on Friday, freshmanÂ
Luca Zenati-Parsons saw his winning streak end, also in a tiebreaker, in Saturday's quarterfinal round.
One Forester who did survive Saturday's semifinals was freshman
Ayush Sharma in the Men's C4 Singles Division. After dropping the first game 15-9, he took the second 15-5 and the tiebreaker 11-7 to earn a spot in Sunday's final. Junior
Gota Akagiri played in the same bracket but was defeated in the semis.
