Semifinal matches were played at the 2026 U.S. Handball Association National Collegiate Championship Tournament on Saturday and Forester players advanced in three different divisions.

Senior Audrey Peters was the only player on the team to prevail in singles on Saturday. After dropping the first game 21-14, she took the second 21-10 and the tiebreaker 11-6 in the Women's Open 9-16 bracket. The final on Sunday is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.

Tiebreaker losses eliminated two other Foresters in singles play. Freshman Jonah Davis was edged out 21-7, 9-21, 11-7 in the Men's B1 semifinals while sophomore Ayush Sharma fell 14-21, 21-17, 11-4 in C3.

Three of Lake Forest's four doubles matches on Saturday were also decided by tiebreakers.

Peters and junior Emma Kinane were defeated 15-9, 11-15, 11-10 in the Women's Open Division while senior Arielle Augustyn and sophomore Satoe Tohi came out on top 10-15, 15-11, 11-4 in the A bracket.

On the men's side, sophomore Luca Zenati-Parsons and junior Jake Emold dropped a 15-12, 15-5 decision in the A semifinals but Davis and fellow freshman Ben Koch claimed a 9-15, 15-9, 11-1 triumph to reach the B final.

Both of Lake Forest's doubles teams will play for divisional titles at 11:00 Sunday morning.
