Tuesday was the third and final day of the 2025 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship Tournament and Lake Forest College finished second at the event for the third consecutive season.

The third day playing the 5,617-yard, par-72 course at Birch Creek Golf Club in Union, Missouri, yielded the best round in program history for the Foresters, whose score of 302 (+14) was a school record by four strokes. The 54-hole total of 647 (+83) was also the best in team history by 14 shots.

Grinnell College won the event with a final score of 904 and Mississippi University for Women was third, 38 shots behind the Foresters.

Lake Forest was led on Tuesday by senior Sydney Foulon, whose 1-over 73 was the team's lowest round of the tournament and matched the fourth-best performance in program history. It was also the best score of her career by three strokes. She climbed five spots in the standings to ninth in the 50-player field and earned First Team All-SLIAC honors.

Only four three-round totals in team history are better than Foulon's 240 (+24) and two of them were turned in by her teammates this week. Fellow senior Gabrielle Krebs and sophomore Libby Hearst were just one shot behind Foulon with matching scores of 74 on Tuesday. Krebs finished third overall and broke her own school record with a final score of 228 (+12) that featured 38 pars, the second-highest total at the event. Hearst led the field on the par-3s, which she completed in 1-under, and placed seventh overall at 236 (+20). Tuesday's round was the best of her collegiate career.

Claiming Second Team All-SLIAC accolades were senior Alijah Campbell and freshman Sophie Smith. Campbell was 14th with a final tally of 247 (+31) and Smith was just one stroke and one place behind her.

Senior Ashlyn Bhatia competed in the event as an individual, carded a season-best 79 on Tuesday, and finished 19th at 254. She was also named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

The Foresters' performance at the tournament improved their scoring average this season to 322.18, which would be the lowest in program history by six strokes. Their schedule for the spring will be announced at a later date.
