9/28/2024 7:17:00 PM

The Forester women's golf team took on Milwaukee School of Engineering in a dual match on Saturday and came away with a four-shot victory. The event was played at Ives Grove Golf Course in Stourtevant, Wisconsin, where the competitors played the Blue and Red Courses.

Lake Forest was led by junior Sydney Foulon, who tied for first place overall with a round of 81. She had birdied both of the par-3s and added three pars on the Blue Course before adding three more pars on the Red.

Freshman Libby Hearst was just a shot behind Foulon and one ahead of junior Alijah Campbell. Hearst parred all but one of her first nine holes while Campbell's round featured a birdie on the 380-yard par-4 sixth. Junior Niki Datangel also finished in the 80s with an 88.

Lake Forest posted a score of 336 while MSOE was at 340. The victory was the Foresters' 20th in as many dual matches since the program began in 2014.

The Foresters will close out the fall semester at the three-day St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which will begin on Sunday, October 6.
