The D3football.com All-Region Teams were announced on Wednesday and five Lake Forest College players were among the honorees for Region 5.

Graduate student A.J. Jackson was named to the first team as a running back and kick returner. He ran for 650 yards and 7.1 yards per carry this fall and his 21 rushing touchdowns are tied for the third-highest total in the nation. The Midwest Conference Offensive Skill MVP also ranks seventh in the country with 15.6 yards per punt return and fifth with 165.3 all-purpose yards per contest. He is the NCAA Division III record holder with nine career punt return touchdowns and Lake Forest's all-time leader with 72 touchdowns and 434 points.

Fifth-year offensive tackle Ian Ramey and guard Braxton Matteson were named Second and Third Team All-Region 5, respectively, on Wednesday. They helped the Lake Forest offense rank 25th in the nation with 40.1 points per game and the Foresters' 415.5 total yards per game is the fifth-highest average in program history. In addition, they set a team record with 36 rushing touchdowns and allowed a total of just 15 sacks in 11 games. Ramey was also named MWC Offensive Line MVP last month.

Graduate student Jaylen Johnson joined Ramey as a Second Team All-Region 5 selection after leading Lake Forest with 6.5 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss on the year. Only eight players in program history finished with more than his 30.0 career tackles for loss.

Senior Dominic Lewis was a third team honoree as a special teams player after making at least one tackle on a kickoff return in every game this season. He also scored a touchdown on a blocked punt and recovered a fumble on his own team's punt return to help the Foresters retain possession.

Lake Forest went 10-1 on the season to match the highest victory total in program history. The Foresters captured their third MWC title in the last four years with a perfect 9-0 league record and finally had the 2024 campaign come to an end in the second round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs.

Jackson's all-region accolades were his fourth as a returner and first at running back while each of his four teammates on the list were recognized for the first time. The six total selections are the most in team history.
