Box Score Lake Forest women's soccer rolled over its Knox College competitors in a 5-0 victory on Saturday.
Sophomore
Izzy DeStefano got the Foresters on the board at the 20:57 minute mark. After a steal by
Krissy Kuwahara, the Foresters moved the ball down the field, and senior
Ashley Birnesser got the ball in front of a charging DeStefano, who sliced the ball passed the Prairie Fire goalkeeper.
Up 1-0, the Foresters never looked back and put up another two goals in the first 45 minutes of the game, the first by sophomore Caitlin Mulchay and the second by freshman
Ella Chicone.Â
DeStefano added another goal to the board for Lake Forest in the sixty-second minute of the game, and the final goal was put up byÂ
Rosalie Wisniewski.
The Foresters had 13 shots in the game to Knox's two; they has 12 corner kicks where Knox had zero.
Lake Forest will play again on Monday against Benedictine University. The game will be on Mohr Field ot 4:30 p.m.
