The Lake Forest College women's golf team carded a 349 to finish four strokes behind Elmhurst University and eight ahead of Wisconsin Lutheran in Monday's triangular.
The event was played on the 5,648-yard, par-72 course at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine, Wisconsin.
Sophomore
Ashlyn Bhatia led the Foresters and tied for third place overall with an 86. She matched her best round of the season and was one of just two players in the field with a pair of birdies.
Fellow Lake Forest sophomores
Sydney Foulon and
Gabrielle Krebs were just one shot behind Bhatia and tied-for-fifth in the 20-player field. Classmate
Alijah Campbell rounded out the Foresters' top four with an 89.
Lake Forest will compete in the Midwest Region Classic at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday.
