Lake Forest College sent three players to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Tournament at Kalamazoo College over the weekend.

Sophomores Maria Jose Campos and Margaret Bugnacki were among the 64 players in the singles draw, which began Friday morning. Campos defeated her opening round opponent 6-1, 6-2 while Bugnacki's first match, a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 victory, was much closer. Both Foresters were eliminated in round two Friday afternoon.

Campos also competed in doubles with freshman Sara Lopez. They rolled 8-0 in their first match before falling to the #3 seeds on Saturday.

All three players will return to Lake Forest to play in the team's dual match with visiting Ripon College on Sunday.
