Despite a strong offensive, Lake Forest women's soccer was shut out in its match against North Park University on Wednesday. The final was 1-0.

The Foresters out-shot their opponents 15-8, and had seven total shots on goal. Junior Alyssa Xanos led the team in shots, and she and senior Julia Larson led in shots on goal.

North Park netted their goal late in the first half with the clock reading 41:11.

The Foresters' season record now sits at 3-2. North Park improved to 2-2-1.

The Foresters will play to a home crowd against the University of Dubuque on Saturday, September 18, at 3:00 p.m.
