The Lake Forest College women's soccer team was defeated 9-0 by Hope College at the MSOE Invitational on Saturday.

Hope scored its first goal at the 14:07 mark and the game remained 1-0 until late in the first half. The Flying Dutch doubled their lead on a score with just 20 seconds remaining in the period and then poured it on in the second half. 

The Foresters were out-shot 24-1 in the contest.

Lake Forest is now 0-2-0 this season.

The Foresters will travel to Edgewood College on Wednesday to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.
