The Forester men's golf team posted a seventh-place finish at the 2015 Midwest Conference Preview Meet on Sunday. Freshman Davis DeKorte was Lake Forest's top player with a score of 83.

DeKorte tied for 18th place in the 41-player field and finished 10 shots out of first place overall. Senior David Grannis was next on the team with a round of 87 while freshmen Durham Ghelfi and Christopher Rockers each posted a score of 88.

St. Norbert College won the event with a score of 298, a dozen shots better than runner-up Grinnell College. The Foresters finished in a combined 346 strokes. 

Lake Forest's next event will be the St. Norbert Invitational at the Royal St. Patrick's Golf Links in Wrightstown, Wisconsin. Saturday's opening round will begin at 11:00 a.m. and Sunday's round two will start two hours earlier.
