The Forester women's soccer team fell 1-0 to visiting Monmouth College on Sunday. Lake Forest is now 11-7-0 overall and the team finished the regular season with a 7-2-0 record in Midwest Conference play. The Foresters will be the #2 seed in hext weekend's MWC Tournament.

The only goal of Sunday's contest was score in the fifth minute of the game.

Lake Forest had a 5-3 advantage in shots in the first half and a 6-4 edge in the second.

Forester sophomore goalkeeper Bri Schleibinger recorded two saves in the game and lowered her goals against average on the season to 1.50.

The Foresters finished 7-2-0 in league play for the fourth year in a row. The team will take on Lawrence University in the MWC Tourney semifinals next Friday at 11:00 a.m. The winner will face either Monmouth or host Carroll University in the final on Saturday at noon.
