The Foresters faced their first deficit of the day during the middle of set two. Trailing 21-18, the visitors scored seven of the next eight points, including three on kills by Cooper, to take the set.

Lake Forest fell behind again in the third and eventually trailed 24-17 before fighting off six straight set points. The run ended on a service error and the Raiders claimed the set 25-23.

M.S.O.E. led 10-4 and 14-9 in the fourth set before the Foresters used an 8-2 run to take the lead. Trailing 18-17, the home team rattled off five points in a row to regain the advantage and held on to even the match at two sets apiece.

The Foresters managed to score back-to-back points just twice in the final set while the Raiders rallied for two or more in a row five times to take the match.

Lake Forest is now 13-14 on the year and will finish the regular season on the road next weekend. The team will play at St. Norbert College Friday night at 7:00 and take on Lawrence University (11:00 a.m.) and UW-Stevens Point (1:00 p.m.) at Lawrence on Saturday.
