Fry, Robinson, and Winston Named Academic All-District® by CSC

College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams on Tuesday and three Lake Forest College players were among the honorees.

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale at their current institution and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They also must compete in at least 90 percent or start at least two-thirds of their team's contests.

Lake Forest's honorees were senior Lilly Robinson and juniors Sadie Fry and Meghan Winston.

Robinson played in every set for the Foresters this season. The setter and team captain led the squad with 424 assists and 35 aces and now ranks among the program's top eight with her career totals in both categories. She was also third on the squad with 169 digs and fourth in blocks with 17. Robinson, who is majoring in psychology, is a three-time Academic All-Midwest Conference honoree.

Fry, a middle blocker, appeared in 16 of the team's 21 matches and made 14 starts. Her 22 blocks rank third on the team and she added 32 kills to her stat line for the season. Fry is majoring in sociology and anthropology and was named Academic All-MWC after each of her first two years at the College.

Winston was second on the team with 142 kills, 204 digs, and 105 assists and fifth with 17 aces and 13 blocks on the year. The right side hitter and occasional setter reached double figures in both kills and digs three times and turned in a triple-double with 13 kills, 14 digs, and 16 assists at Alverno on October 7. She is a a two-time Academic All-MWC honoree and now a two-time Academic All-District® selection as well.

Lake Forest has now had at least two players earn Academic All-District® accolades each of the last four seasons.
