Lake Forest College women's soccer player
Gianna Logue was named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week on Tuesday after helping lead her team to a pair of victories last week.
The Foresters hosted and defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering 3-1 to open the season last Wednesday. Logue, a senior central defender played all 90 minutes and the Raiders managed just nine total shots with only two attempts on target.
Logue also played the entirety of Saturday's 2-0 triumph at Concordia University Wisconsin. The Foresters limited the Falcons to four shot attempts in the contest and Lake Forest goalies needed to make just two saves to record the shutout.
Logue is in her second season as a regular starter and has played all 90 minutes in 15 of 24 contests since the beginning of the 2025 season.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Logue was also named Forester Athlete of the Week earlier in the day.
