Lake Forest College women's soccer players Annabelle Schroeder and Sara Swenson were named Midwest Conference Offensive and Defensive Performer of the Week, respectively, on Monday after leading the Foresters to four victories in a six-day span.

Schroeder finished with three goals and four assists on the week. The junior midfielder accounted for the first two tallies in Tuesday night's 6-0 win at Benedictine University and played 80 minutes of the team's 2-0 triumph over Concordia University Chicago on Thursday. She assisted on the first goal and scored the second in Saturday's 2-0 victory over St. Norbert College and then set up a pair of scores in Sunday's 5-0 rout at Aurora University.

Schroeder leads the conference with a dozen points this season and now has 40 points on 13 goals and 14 assists in her career.

Swenson, a freshman goalkeeper, played the first half of all four shutouts last week. She made one save at Benedictine, three against Concordia Chicago, a season-high four against St. Norbert, and one more at Aurora to finish the week with 10 without allowing a goal in 180 minutes of play.

In six appearances and 270 minutes this season, Swenson has surrendered just one goal while making 11 saves for a .909 save percentage and 0.33 goals against average.
