Six Foresters Named SLIAC All-Academic

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released the list of SLIAC All-Academic honorees for spring sports and six Lake Forest men's golfers were included.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have reached at least sophomore status in academic standing, attended their current institution for one full academic year, and maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale

Among the Foresters' honorees was senior Evan Dybas, a business major with a concentration in management.

Three of the team's juniors made the list, including Tyler Schick for the second year in a row. Like Dybas, he is majoring in business with a management concentration. Classmates Alexander Rohlf and Tyler Wengronowitz are finance majors with the latter including an concentration in accounting.

Sophomores Tyler Poker and Nate Choi were also honored on Wednesday. Poker is majoring in business and Choi in finance as well as data science with a computer science concentration. 

In addition to their success in the classroom, Wengronowitz was named first team all-conference while Schick earned second team accolades at the 2026 SLIAC Championship Tournament.
