The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams were announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday and a pair of Foresters made the list.

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale at their current institution and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They also must compete in at least 90 percent or start at least two-thirds of their team's contests.

Lake Forest's honorees were Anika Kinnear and Ariana Ferreira-Torralba.

Kinnear played in each of the Foresters' 25 games and started all but two this season. The junior guard ranked second on the team with 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest and was third on the squad with 17 steals. She is double-majoring in music and environmental studies and is a two-time Academic All-Midwest Conference selection.

Ferreira-Torralba, a sophomore guard, was in the starting lineup for 22 of her 25 appearances in 2025-26. She led Lake Forest with 28 steals, ranked third on the team with 40 assists, and averaged 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Her list of academic accolades includes Academic All-MWC honors in 2024-25.

Lake Forest has now had six different players earn Academic All-District® recognition in the last four seasons.
