D3hoops.com released its 2025-26 All-Region teams on Monday and Lake Forest College's Cristian Rodriguez was among the honorees.

Rodriguez was named Third Team All-Region 9 after leading the Foresters with 20.6 and 9.0 rebounds per game and 25 blocked shots this season. The senior forward's scoring average also led the Midwest Conference, ranked 56th in the nation, and was the seventh-highest single-season mark in program history while he was second in the league and 48th in the country in rebounding.

Efficiency was also a strength for Rodriguez, whose conference-best .598 field goal percentage ranked 22nd nationally. He also shot 77.5 percent from the foul line, where he made the 58th-most free throws in the country.

Rodriguez scored at least a dozen points in each of Lake Forest's 26 games and had nine double-doubles. He surpassed 20 points 14 times and had a pair of 30-point performances, including a 26-point, 15-rebound, 6-assist effort against Monmouth College on January 21. He averaged 26.8 points and 13.5 rebounds in four full games against the top two teams in the league (Monmouth and Grinnell College).

After transferring to Lake Forest in 2024, Rodriguez averaged 17.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in two seasons as a Forester. He was also named First Team All-MWC after the conclusion of the league's regular season.

Rodriguez is the program's first all-region player since Travis Clark in 2011-12.
