The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced its women's end-of-season awards on Tuesday and Lake Forest College goaltender
Lily Peterfeso earned NCHA All-Freshman Team accolades.
Peterfeso ranked second in the league with a .947 save percentage and third with a 1.56 goals against average in NCHA games this season. She was also 5-3-0 with a pair of shutouts in nine appearances (eight starts) during conference play.
In all games this winter Peterfeso ranks 26th in the nation with a .938 save percentage while her 1.99 goals against average is 49th. She has stopped at least 90 percent of opponents' shots on goal in 12 of 15 appearances.
Peterfeso is the third Forester goaltender to be named to the NCHA All-Freshman Team, joining Jacque Rogers (2016-17) and current junior
Chelsea Denniss (2024-25). Lake Forest has now had at least one player at any position earn that honor in 9 of the last 11 seasons.
