Lake Forest College men's soccer player Sam Satisky was named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week on Monday.

Satisky, a sophomore defender, scored both of the Foresters' goals in Saturday's 2-1 triumph at Dominican University. He entered the game in the 34th minute and headed in a corner kick just three-and-a-half minutes later. After starting the second half as a reserve, he returned to the contest in the 73rd minute and was successful in converting a penalty kick opportunity in the 81st. That goal proved to be the game-winner after the Stars finally got on the scoreboard on a penalty kick of their own with 2:09 remaining.

The Foresters also prevailed 3-1 at Benedictine University Thursday night with Satisky playing 18 minutes in the contest.

He now has 11 points on five goals and an assist in his collegiate career.
