Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Foresters Edge Dominican 2–1 to Stay Unbeaten

The Lake Forest College men's soccer team remained unbeaten on the season with a 2–1 victory at Dominican University on Saturday afternoon. The Foresters used a brace from sophomore Sam Satisky to secure their third straight win in a competitive non-conference matchup.

Lake Forest struck first in the 37th minute when Satisky finished off a setup from sophomore Miguel Rodriguez to give the visitors an early advantage. Satisky doubled the lead in the 82nd minute, calmly converting a penalty kick to put the Foresters ahead by two. Dominican answered with a penalty of their own six minutes later, but the Forester defense stayed composed through the final whistle to preserve the result.

The Foresters generated a 20–11 edge in shots, including an 8–4 margin in shots on goal, while also earning an 8–4 advantage in corner kicks. Strong midfield play and three second-half saves helped Lake Forest withstand Dominican's late push.

With the win, the Foresters improve to 3–0 and continue their unbeaten start to the 2025 campaign. They return to action on Wednesday, September 10, when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
