The Lake Forest College men's soccer team stayed perfect on the season with a decisive 4–0 win at Wisconsin Lutheran on Wednesday night. The Foresters improved to 4–0–0 after another strong showing on both ends of the field.
Junior forward Nathan Kostovetsky opened the scoring in the 18th minute, finishing off a feed from Junior defender Ollie Francis to give Lake Forest the early edge. After halftime, Freshman forward Ferdi Amin doubled the lead off an assist from Freshman forward Chad Endozo, and just 15 minutes later, Sophomore defender Sam Satisky converted from the penalty spot to make it 3–0. Senior forward Ali Jodeh capped the scoring in the 72nd minute with a composed finish.
The Foresters' defense was equally sharp, holding Wisconsin Lutheran to only three shots—just one on target—across 90 minutes. Sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Demmon earned the shutout in goal, while Senior defender Christian Karabetsos, and Senior defender Alexis Flores anchored a backline that frustrated the hosts all night.
Lake Forest finished with an 18–3 shot advantage and 10 corner kicks, showcasing their constant pressure in the attacking third. With four different goal scorers and two others picking up assists, the Foresters once again proved their depth and balance in all phases of the game.
The Foresters return home for their next match on Friday, September 12 at 4:30 p.m. against Illinois Institute of Technology at Mohr Field.
