For the third time this month, Lake Forest College men's soccer player Sam Satisky was named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week on Monday.

Satisky and the rest of the Foresters posted a pair of shutouts last week, beginning with Tuesday's 1-0 victory over visiting Carroll University. Lake Forest limited the Pioneers to just three shots on goal and Satisky, a sophomore defender, assisted on the only score of the contest.

The Foresters also blanked Knox College 2-0 on Saturday in the league opener for both teams. Satisky's fourth goal of the season started the scoring in the 25th minute and Lake Forest allowed the Prairie Fire to put just two shots on goal in the game.

Satisky played all 90 minute in both games and is now tied-for-second on the team with four goals and 10 points on the year.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Satisky also earned the honor on September 8 and September 15.
