The Lake Forest College men's soccer team extended its undefeated start to the 2025 season with a 2–0 victory over Knox College on Saturday afternoon at Farwell Field, improving to 9–0 overall and 1–0 in Midwest Conference play.
The Foresters broke through midway through the first half when sophomore Sam Satisky opened the scoring in the 25th minute off an assist from junior Peter Cirbo. Five minutes later, senior Christian Karabetsos doubled the lead with another assist from Cirbo, giving Lake Forest a 2–0 advantage heading into halftime.
The Foresters controlled the pace throughout, outshooting the Prairie Fire 22–10 and holding an 8–2 edge in shots on goal.
In goal, junior Andrew Swacha and freshman Marceli Okonski combined for the clean sheet, with each playing one half and totaling two saves.
Lake Forest (9–0, 1–0 MWC) will return to action on Tuesday, October 1, when it hosts Calvin University at 4 p.m. at Mohr Field.
