Lake Forest College women's soccer player
Anna Hoffman was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday after helping her team win twice in the last seven days.
Hoffman had two goals and an assist in Wednesday's 5-1 victory over Carthage College. She set up a score at the 49:16 mark before scoring two of her own in the next 17 minutes to put the game out of reach.
The Foresters prevailed 2-1 at North Park University on Saturday and Hoffman was responsible for the game's first goal with seventh-and-a-half minutes to play before halftime.
Hoffman ranks second in the nation so far this season with 11 goals and the senior midfielder's score on Saturday made her just the fifth player in program history to surpass 100 career points. She also ranks fifth in team annals with 42 goals and tied-for-fifth with 11 game-winners.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Hoffman has now earned the honor three times in her career.
