The Lake Forest College women's soccer team continued its dominant start to the 2025 season, defeating Knox College 4–0 on Saturday afternoon at Farwell Field to improve to 10–0 overall and 1–0 in Midwest Conference play.
The Foresters wasted no time finding the back of the net. Just two minutes and twenty-eight seconds into the match, senior Anna Gracia buried the opening goal off a feed from senior Izzy DeStefano. Lake Forest doubled its lead in the 19th minute when sophomore Riley Henrichs scored her first career goal, assisted by senior Theresa Presberg, giving the Foresters a 2–0 advantage heading into halftime.
After the break, senior Anna Hoffman extended the lead in the 58th minute on another setup from DeStefano. Less than a minute later, Gracia added her second goal of the day, this time a header off a cross from Presberg to seal the 4–0 victory.
DeStefano and Presberg each finished with two assists, while Gracia led the way with two goals on four shots. The Foresters outshot Knox 25–5, including a 15–2 advantage in shots on goal.
In goal, senior Joanna Aslanides recorded her fifth shutout of the season, making two saves in the clean-sheet performance.
Lake Forest (10–0, 1–0 MWC) will look to stay unbeaten when it returns to action on Monday, September 29, hosting Concordia University Wisconsin at Mohr Field. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
