The 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award recipients were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday and Lake Forest College was among the schools to achieve Presidents Special Recognition.

A GCAA record 292 schools across six divisions earned a Platform Golf Team Academic Award. Of those institutions, 129 received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above, including Lake Forest and 24 other NCAA Division III programs.

The Foresters earned team academic accolades from the GCAA for the fourth consecutive year but achieved the higher honor (3.5+ GPA) for the first time.

The GCAA also released its list of Division III All-America Scholars earlier this week and Foresters Luke Duffer, Tyler Schick, and Tyler Wengronowitz made the list.
