The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2024-25 Division III All-Academic Teams and Scholar Athletes on Wednesday and the lists included the Forester men's team and nine of its members.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale). Lake Forest also earned the award each of the last three years and in 2018 and 2013.
Individuals must record a grade point average of at least 3.5 for an entire academic year to earn ITA Scholar Athlete accolades. Forester seniors Kyle Lassen and Daniel Tulchinskiy made the list for the fourth year in a row while senior Alec Nissen and juniors George Ciuca and Ian Villardi are now three-time honorees. Senior Anele Mayiga and sophomore Bernardo Aguiar have earned the honor twice and are joined on the list by freshmen Joao Espindola and Felipe Moraes. The nine selections are a team record and the program has now had 31 honorees in the last six years and 45 since 2012.
More than 1,100 Division III men were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 135 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
