NCAA Division III PING All-Region honorees were announced Sunday night by the NCAA in coordination with the Golf Coaches Association of America and the 15-player list in Region VI included Lake Forest College's
Tyler Wengronowitz.
Wengronowitz posted a scoring average of 72.92 this season, shattering the program record by more than a shot-and-a-half per round. The sophomore was at or below par on 10 of his 24 rounds and finished ahead of nearly 87 percent of his competitors.
Wengronowitz posted three top-5 finishes in 2024-25, including a victory at the Forester Spring Invite where he set one school record with a 36-hole score of 134. and matched another with a 6-under 66 on day two of the event. Wengrpnowitz closed out his first year at the College by breaking the program's 54-hole mark and earning First Team All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors with a runner-up score of 211 (-5) at the SLIAC Championships.
Sunday's announcement was made at the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship Banquet. Wengronowitz is the first Forester to earn all-region accolades.
