The Lake Forest College men's golf team competed in The Tiger Invitational in Pinehurst, North Carolina, on Sunday and Monday. The event featured 16 teams ranked among the top 40 in the nation in the NCAA's official database for golf.

Sophomore Tyler Schick led the Foresters with back-to-back rounds of 3-over 75. He carded five birdies at the two-day event and tied for 39th place in the 100-player field.

Fellow sophomore Tyler Wengronowitz was next on the team in round one with a 78 and senior Chris Petri posted the same score in the second round. Wengronowitz finished the 36-hole tournament with a score of 158 and Petri was at 165. Senior Luke Duffer also factored in the team's scoring both days and finished a stroke ahead of Petri.

Methodist University won the event with a two-round total of 567, which was nine shots under par.

The Foresters' next tournament will be Illinois Wesleyan University's IWU Invitational April 4-5.
