The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced the 2024-25 All-NCHA Teams on Thursday and Lake Forest College's
Matteas Derraugh was among the honorees.
Derraugh earned the award for the second time in his career after ranking fifth among league defensemen with 13 points on a goal and a dozen assists during the 18-game conference schedule. The senior also led Lake Forest with 17 assists and tied for the team lead with 18 points in 25 contests overall. He recorded at least one assist in more than half of the Foresters' games, including a career-high-tying three at the University of Dubuque on February 1.
Derraugh, who was also an All-NCHA selection as well as a First Team West All-American as a sophomore in 2022-23, finished his four years at the College with 14 goals and 51 assists in 86 career games. This is actually the third time he has been recognized by the league for his play on the ice, having also earned NCHA All-Freshman Team honors following the 2021-22 season.
