The College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams were announced on Tuesday and five Lake Forest players were among the honorees.

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale at their current institution and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They also must compete in at least 90 percent or start at least two-thirds of their team's games.

Senior Anna Hoffman, junior Lola Halsband, and sophomores Annabelle Schroeder, Riley Henrichs, and Maggie Balas were Lake Forest's honorees.

Hoffman was named First Team All-Midwest Confernce for the fourth time earlier this month after leading the league and ranking among the top 10 in the nation with 21 goals and 52 points this season. The midfielder finished her four years at the College ranked tied-for-fourth in program history with 52 career goals and fifth with 128 points. Majoring in economics with a data science concentration, she is a three-time Academic All-MWC honoree, the MWC Elite 20 Award recipient for possessing the highest cumulative grade point average of any player at the four-team conference tournament, and now a three-time CSC Academic All-District® selection.

Halsband was recognized as a CSC Academic All-District® selection for the second year in a row. The defender scored one goal and assisted on three while playing in all but one of the team's 22 games and making 19 starts. Majoring in biology, she is a two-time Second Team All-MWC and Academic All-MWC honoree.

Schroeder was the MWC Newcomer of the Year in 2024 and finished this season with 20 points on six goals and eight assists while starting every game. The midfielder and biochemistry and molecular biology major was named Academic All-MWC last year.

Henrichs, a defensive midfielder, played in every game and had a goal and an assist this fall. Like Schroeder, she is majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology major and was an Academic All-MWC selection last season.

Balas was second on the team and ranks among the top 10 in the nation with 13 assists this season. The midfielder also scored four goals while appearing in every game. She earned Academic All-MWC accolades last year and is majoring in environmental studies.

Lake Forest won its first 21 games of the 2025 season before falling in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Along the way the Foresters captured their third straight MWC championship and the program's ninth league title overall before winning the MWC Tournament for the fifth time.

Select Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® selections will be announced on December 17.
