Box Score 2 The Lake Forest College women's tennis team won twice at Wheaton College on Saturday, prevailing 7-0 against Milwaukee School of Engineering before coming back to defeat the host team 4-3.
The Foresters combined to win 90 of 100 games in the first match of the day. Freshman

Sofia Strupovets at the top of the doubles lineup while fifth-year
Margaret Bugnacki and sophomore
Kate Feist doubled up their opponents 6-3 at #2. Senior
Emily Bross and sophomore Anika Kinear came out on top 6-2 at #3.
Perfect 6-0, 6-0 scores were turned in by Dockal at #2 singles and Bugnacki at #3. Strupovets, Feist, and junior
Olivia Pandazi were victorious by the same 6-0, 6-1 final at #1, #4, and #6, respectively, and Kinnear defeated MSOE's #5 player 6-2, 6-0.
Lake Forest also won the doubles point against Wheaton, thanks to a 6-3 win from Strupovets and Dockal at #1 and a narrow 7-5 triumph from Bugnacki and Feist at #2.
The Thunder rolled at the bottom half of the singles lineup and jumped out to a 3-1 lead with a set in hand at #3. Dockal's 7-5, 6-2 victory at #2 ended the run, Bugnacki evened her match by taking the second set, and Strupovets was also headed to set three. After Bugnacki tied the team score by finishing off a 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory at #3 and Strupovets outlasted Wheaton's top player 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 to secure the match for the Foresters.
Lake Forest will take its 2-0 record to Elmhurst University on Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
