The Lake Forest College men's golf team completed play at Millikin University's two-day Take Back the Night Challenge on Saturday and finished in 13th place.
The tournament's first round was played at Red Tail Run and the second at South Side Country Club in Decatur, Illinois.
Freshman
Tyler Schick was the Foresters' top player at the event and tied for 20th place out of 100 competitors overall with a 36-hole score of 150. He led the field with 28 pars on the weekend and only five players were better than him on the par-4s, which he finished in just two strokes over par.
Junior
Chris Petri was next on the team, just two shots and a dozen places behind Schick. Petri carded three birdies and a 74 on Saturday.
Forester senior
Tyler Nielsen turned in his team's best round on Friday with a 1-over 73. He birdied his final two holes of the tournament and finished tied-for-64th at 159.
Illinois Wesleyan University was first in the team standings with a two-day score of 570, 10 shots clear of runner-up Parkland College. Lake Forest was 13th at 622.
The next event on the Foresters' schedule is Carthage College's Firebird Spring Invite on Monday. The tournament will be played at Ives Grove Golf Links in Racine, Wisconsin.
