The Lake Forest College Sports and Recreation Center was once again the site of the Illinois Handball Association Joe Ardito Contenders Tournament over the weekend.

There were just four Foresters in the field, including sophomore Emma Kinane, who rattled off three straight victories to win the consolation bracket.

Kinane defeated fellow Forester sophomore Miley Ashby in the quarterfinals.

Freshman Jodie Keeling made a strong showing, rolling 31-1 in the round of 32 and prevailing by the same score in the round of 16. She was eliminated in the quarterfinals by the eventual runner-up.

Junior Audrey Peters reached the round of 16 before falling.

The next event on Lake Forest's schedule is the Milwaukee Classic, which will be played at the Wisconsin Athletic Club in est Allis December 6-8.
