Box Score Despite a goal in the last 45 minutes of the match, the Lake Forest College women's soccer team was defeated 3-1 by the Milwaukee School of Engineering late Tuesday night.
Down 1-0 going into the the second half of play, the Foresters quickly let up two more goals within the first 10 minutes.
Sophomore Anna Gracia was able to add a goal to Lake Forest's tally with a little less than 27 minutes left remaining. Despite the momentum Gracia began and the passionate play the Foresters exhibited late in the game, the deficit was too great to overcome.
Lake Forest goalie Greta Norville played all 90 minutes and made seven saves in total. The Foresters were out-shot 16 to 4.
Lake Forest plays again on Friday, September 8 at Crown College. The game will begin at 7 p.m.
