The Lake Forest College women's tennis team started the 2022-23 season at the North Central Invitational, where the Foresters were defeated 7-2 by Purdue University Northwest and 9-0 by North Central.

Junior Margaret Bugnacki accounted for the closest match of the day for the Foresters. She won the first set 6-1 over Purdue Northwest's #1 singles player but dropped the second 6-3 and the third set super tiebreaker 10-8.

Bugnacki was also edged out 7-5 in set two of her #2 singles match against North Central while sophomore Sara Lopez went to a tiebreaker in her first set at #3.

The Foresters will be in action again in two weeks when they open Midwest Conference play against visiting Cornell College.
