The Lake Forest College women's tennis team fell 6-3 to visiting Judson University Saturday night at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.

After Judson swept the doubles competition, the matches at each of the top three spots in the singles lineup were decided by a third set super tiebreaker. Two of those went to Lake Forest with sophomore Margaret Bugnacki coming out on top 6-3, 0-6, (10-8) at #1 and junior Natalia Leite prevailing 6-4, 5-7, (10-8) at #3. Katie Wegrecki celebrated her Senior Day with a 7-5, 6-4 win at #4 but the Eagles earned points at #2, #5, and #6.

Lake Forest is now 10-7 and Judson 7-3 on the year.

The Foresters will close out 2021-22 against Carthage College next Sunday. The match will be played at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff and will begin at 4:30 p.m.
