Lake Forest defeated Millikin University 9-0 Monday morning in the Foresters' first match during their Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The scores of all three doubles matches were 8-2 with Lake Forest junior Julie Lord and senior Leeza Bodnar prevailing at #1, sophomore Tebatso Duba and junior Tyranny Miller at #2, and junior Emma Wang and sophomore Katie Wegrecki at #3.

Wang was the first to finish in singles, defeating Millikin's #4 player 6-0, 6-3 and the decisive fifth point of the match came from Bodnar at #3, where she prevailed 6-1, 6-4. Lord came out on top of a 7-5, 6-1 decision atop the lineup, Wegrecki rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #6, Miller did not drop a game at #5, and Duba took both sets 6-3 at #2.

The Foresters improved to 12-3 on the year while Millikin fell to 5-9.

Lake Forest will take on LeTourneau University Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 (ET).
