The Lake Forest College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at St. Norbert College Wednesday night. Senior Nonie Carson prevailed at #3 singles for the visitors' lone team point.

Carson took the first set 6-2 before falling 6-3 in the second. She then prevailed 6-2 in the third set to earn the victory.

Sophomore Aimee Fadden was also able to win the first set at the top spot in the singles lineup but eventually fell 6-7 (3-7), 6-1, 6-3. Classmate Lucy Cooper blanked her opponent in the first set at #4 but was eventually defeated 0-6, 6-1, 6-3.

Lake Forest fell to 3-9 on the season while the Green Knights raised their record to 9-3.

The Foresters will host Ripon College at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.
