The Foresters women's tennis team hosted and defeated St. Norbert College 6-3 on Sunday. Sophomore Melika Celebic and junior Nonie Carson combined for three of the team's points by winning at #1 doubles and at the top two spots in the singles lineup.

Lake Forest took two of the three doubles matches. Celebic and Carson prevailed 8-3 at #1 and senior Natalie Atroshenko and freshman Nicole Stroner defeated the Green Knight's #3 duo 8-4.

Celebic won 6-2, 6-4 and Carson 6-3, 6-3 at #1 and #2 singles, respectively. Junior Deepika Ramachandran's 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 triumph at #4 clinched the victory for the Foresters and senior Lauren Stroner added a 6-1, 4-6, (10-7) win at #5.

Lake Forest will be back in action at home tomorrow when the team hosts Wisconsin Lutheran College at 4:00 p.m.
